In connection with the sale of batteries or accumulators or with the delivery of devices containing batteries or accumulators, we as dealers are obliged in accordance with the Battery Ordinance to take back, sort and dispose of batteries and to inform our customers of the following:
You, as the end customer, are the first to be responsible for ensuring that used batteries and accumulators are disposed of as required by law.
According to German, Austrian and Swiss battery regulations, they may under no circumstances be disposed of with household waste. You can return the batteries free of charge to a municipal collection point or to a retailer (where batteries are also sold), regardless of whether you have purchased new batteries.
Batteries and accumulators received from us can only be returned to us free of charge after use during our operating hours at the address below or sent back to us by post with sufficient postage. The battery should be returned to:

Batteries or accumulators that contain harmful substances are clearly marked with the symbol of a crossed-out garbage can (appendix to Section 17 Para. 1 BattG). The chemical name of the corresponding pollutant is located near the garbage can symbol.
Cd = battery contains more than 0.002 percent cadmium by mass
Pb = battery contains more than 0.004 percent lead by mass
Hg = Battery contains more than 0.0005 percent mercury by mass.
